About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety professional to join our global Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety (EOSH) Management System Team. In this role you will support efforts to implement, certify, continuously improve, and sustain an Environmental and Occupational Safety & Health management system (EOSH MS) based on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. The commitment will focus on the project for further development & implementation phase of EOSH MS over the next 2 years. This role will then transition into Gore's - Global GPS EOSH MS Core Team within the EH&S function and take responsibility for sustainment & continuous improvement of the EOSH Management System. This position will be located at our facility in Newark, Delaware, or Elkton, Maryland with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs. Pay and Benefits:
- $ 80,000 - $ 134,000 per year
- Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

- Create, implement, and optimize Gore's EOSH management system processes, tools & documentation based on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 according to internal timelines in partnership with other Associates and in alignment with the OpCo, teams, and functions
- Conduct internal EOSH Management System and EOSH Compliance Audits according to the GPS EOSH Internal Audit Program
- Coordinate and participate in EOSH management system certification and surveillance audits and represent Gore to external registrar
- Provide Occupational Health and Safety technical expertise to reduce global risks and optimize EOSH management system processes and tools
- Advise and assist plants with integrating the EOSH Management System with existing or future Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 50001)
- Analyze, summarize, and communicate relevant data and metrics and inform leadership on risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate EOSH objectives and targets
- Partner with local EOSH management system coordinators and leaders to deliver EOSH management system results
- Support and align existing and new EOSH management system digital information platforms or solutions
- Educate Business Groups and Enterprise functions teams to build knowledge of the EOSH Management System Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience with implementation, optimization and sustainment of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or equivalent management systems
- Experience applying risk-based decision making to workplace tasks, hazards, or processes
- Experience in creating and presenting data and metrics to drive informed business decisions
- Strong MS 365/MS Office skills including experience with MS SharePoint, MS Teams, PowerBI
- Capability to work within project timelines, project practices, and apply project tools to achieve desired results
- Ability to work and influence virtually across functions and global time zones (Germany, Japan, China)
- Ability to work across cultures and ability to work in an inclusive, rapidly evolving work environment
- Ability to travel up to 20% to attend key meetings and conduct audits Desired Qualifications:
- Experience performing internal management system and compliance audits for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements as a lead auditor
- Experience with multi-site certifications according to IAF MD1 Hybrid Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore's hybrid working policies, from the country in which they are employed.
