Job Description:

The Manager, Accounting Operations will lead staff and oversee the collection and reconciliation of invoices and credit transactions as well as monitor the functions in accordance with standard procedures in general accounting, accounts receivable, or related financial areas. Responsibilities:

  • Manage client invoice reconciliation and billing process which includes but is not limited to the following:
  • Monthly reconciliation process, inclusive of contract review, to ensure timely and accurate invoicing to our customers
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders with a focus on client and supplier interactions
  • Management of junior employees including hiring, training, and career progression (current team comprised of 10-15 employees)
  • Manage end-to-end process to ensure adhesion to strict client deadlines
  • Lead development of internal controls with focus on process improvement and automation
  • Liaison with internal IT team as required (process improvement, etc.)
Required Skills, Education and Experience
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience in billing, auditing, accounts receivable or customer service.
  • 3+ years experience in supervisory role. Excellent team management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of staff (including entry level and senior level employees).
  • Self-starter with experience in fast-paced environment. Must exhibit strong sense of urgency and ability to work timely under deadlines.
  • Internal control design.
  • Hands-on, problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Must have organization and project management skills.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Full time, Monday through Friday, normal core business hours. Occasional nights and weekends may be required as job duties demand. Supervisory Responsibility Yes Travel Requirements None Compensation Good faith annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 and is commensurate with experience and location. Work Environment This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
