Description/Responsibilities
Our Manager of Accounts Payable manages A/P and Procurement activities, and team. This role also oversees the company's travel and p-card program, and collaborates across departments to ensure vendor set up, invoice processing and payments are performed accurately and efficiently.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manages and directs the procurement and accounts payable team, including work tasks and monitoring of workflow.
* Promotes collaborative procurement and accounts payable efforts to drive efficiency across departments
* Manages the 1099 process, which includes prepping the 1099s and collaborating across departments to ensure accurate W-9 information
* Oversees and manages the credit card program and related policies. Sets up new credit cards (travel and corporate), provides support and performs monthly reconciliations.
* Oversees and supports Tivity's expense reimbursement program
* Provides monthly KPI metrics for AP Automation and other projects to the Finance Transformation team
* Manages the escheatment process and collaborates with the Accounting and Treasury team on reconciliations
* Assists with AP invoice functions, including invoice entry and troubleshooting invoice issues
* Coordinates, actively participates and oversees Oracle system testing as it relates to the AP/Procurement functions
* Approves bank account review reports and/or similar controls to ensure vendor payment set ups are accurate
* Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field or five years of work-related experience
* Five or more years of accounting, finance, or AP experience
* Strong analytical, interpersonal and time management skills
* Keen attention to detail
* Enjoys process improvement and creating efficiencies
* Experience with Oracle ERP preferred
* Experience with Sharepoint preferred
* Experience with rillion, or other AP automation tool, preferred
* Excel experience required
* Previous people leadership experience preferred
Location: We are open to someone who lives in the Franklin/Nashville area who would be interested in working in our Franklin office one day per week. We are also open to remote (US-based).
The salary range for this opportunity is $58,200 to $79,500. Compensation depends on several factors: qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
