This interweaves diverse biomedical communities, allowing them to build upon each other's success and accelerate medical breakthroughs that positively impact human health.With our headquarters in Boston, MA, we are growing and expanding our team which located in 14 different countries!What will you do?Subject matter expert in guiding, reviewing and ensuring the quality of team member deliverablesResponsible for different aspects of team performance - both scientific and operationalResponsible for quality of the team deliverablesResponsible for project assignment to team membersEnsure optimal performance of team members, resolving conflicts and removing blockers or escalating in timely mannerSet individual goals for team members and coach them towards achieving themCoach and mentor team members in order to enable their timely career advancement to more senior positions (relative to their current)Provide regular feedback to team members and supports their development within the companyOne of the main stakeholders in the hiring effortWhat do you bring to the table?BSc with minimum 4 years of experience in relevant domain or MSc with minimum 3 years of experience in relevant domainMinimum of 3 years of relevant experienceGood programming skills and bioinformatic knowledge with focus on R, NextFlow, Rshiny, CWL, PythonGood communication and interpersonal skills2+ years of experience in mentoring and guiding younger colleaguesPeople management and development experienceAdvanced knowledge of programming and good programming practicesWhat do we offer?Velsera stands for a stimulating atmosphere where you can grow your capabilities in an open company culture.
