BASIC FUNCTIONS:Responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the Bison One Card Services Office and serves as a project coordinator for Auxiliary IT. This position will assist the Director with regulation, policy, and procedure compliance and supervise all administrative operations of the Bison One Card office, including ongoing assessment of office operations and recommending and documenting procedural improvements. The position will also serve as an administrative component of Auxiliary IT, assisting the Sr. Director of IT, managing projects, due dates/deadlines, and tasks and serving as the primary subject matter expert for systems and equipment directly related to the Bison One Card. The position serves as a subject matter expert on the card system and related systems. The position is also a subject matter expert and serves as a support for system interfaces supporting Housing, Dining, and Printing.
SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTABILITY:Responsible for Bison One Card office staff selection, disciplinary actions, complaints, performance appraisal, and supervisory duties. Plans, assigns, and evaluates the work of subordinates for effective operation and unit results.
NATURE AND SCOPE:Internal contacts include administrators, facilities, students, and staff of the department and the university. External contacts include consultants, vendors, representatives from other colleges and universities, visitors, and the public.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:- Manage daily operations of the Bison One Card office through supervision of support staff; manage daily card issuance operations through development, staff training, and procedural implementation and evaluation.
- Responsible for all aspects of the daily operations of the Bison One Card System, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of all the operations and functioning of the campuswide (One Card) system, which includes but is not limited to Bison One Card, Laundry, Book Vouchers, Dining, Papercut (student printing), Off Campus Merchants and Vending.
- Perform the Morning routine to ensure all systems are operational/functional before the card office opens.
- Runs reports on the Campus system daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly for financial reconciliation, reporting, and as needed by the Director. Assist with the daily and monthly reconciling procedures.
- Oversees inventory, ordering, and file maintenance for the one-card office.
- Assist the Sr. Director and Director with budget development and analysis.
- Determine necessary changes to the Campus software configuration, as needed, to maintain optimum efficiency and functionality of the system.
- Works with the Director to approve changes to card software configuration as features and options are changed or added to the system.
- Configures and runs utilities at the end of the semester or as needed to clear or archive data in the system.
- Works with the Director for configuration reports for system users, creation of new reports, Import/Export of Data
- Corrects errors or notifies the appropriate support team when errors occur and ensures corrections are made promptly.
- Provides support for the Bison One Card system, assisting and conducting routine troubleshooting and maintenance tasks on campus card equipment.
- Performs initial troubleshooting at the site before calling support for assistance.
- After following internal troubleshooting, communicates and works with the appropriate support team to solve equipment or software problems.
- Assist with the management of summer conference card needs.
- Assist the director with the Bison Once Card website, marketing, and communication materials.
- Work with the Director to improve the student experience by developing new, innovative ways to leverage technology related to the campus card program to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist the Sr. Director of Aux IT, managing IT projects. Assist with the development, due dates/deadlines, communication, and tasks to meet project or program objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:A bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field is preferred, as well as 5 years of relevant experience. The degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Ten years of related work experience, five being in higher education, may be substituted for educational qualifications. Qualified candidates will hold a high school diploma/ GED.
Compliance Salary Range DisclosureExpected Salary Range: $72,727 - $80,000
