The Role:

Reporting to the Brand Director for TPWC, the Unshackled Brand Manager will serve as a key member of the brand team providing an opportunity to develop our long-term TPWC brand strategy and lead strategic business initiatives with the support of dynamic cross-functional teams. These initiatives include portfolio strategy, communication planning, sponsorship/partnerships, event and program activation, and insights-led innovation strategy while managing the total P&L.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development and execution of brand planning and strategy across all areas of brand management to deliver business targets for Unshackled brand.
  • Shared responsibility for the delivery of volume, share and profit objectives consistent with overall brand strategy, with P&L accountability for bottom line profitability.
  • Build brand equity through the design and execution of breakthrough consumer and trade strategies including pricing, packaging, innovation, promotion, public relations, advertising/digital marketing and special events, rooted in analytical and consumer insights.
  • Develop and execute insights-based strategic innovation plans to position the business for both short- and long-term success.
  • Perform on-going business and competitive analyses and provide findings and recommendations for corrective action where appropriate to Senior Management.
  • Work with sales partners and leaders to develop marketing programs and identify opportunities to expand the business.
  • Liase with international teams as global brand owners to ensure consistency of brand strategy and execution globally.

  • Business acumen and strong analytical skills with a proven track record of utilizing trend analysis and quantitative data to produce actionable insights; financial and P&L understanding.
  • Experience in developing and managing brand plan to successful execution.
  • Experience managing complex project list, priorities and budgets, and track record of project management with a focus on driving for results.
  • Strong developer of people and talent, with the ability to be feedback-forward.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of CPG, Beverage Alcohol industry or similar experience in marketing role.
  • Proficient PC skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), syndicated database experience (IRI or Nielsen), custom database experience.
  • Physical Requirements/Other

  • Able to lift 40 lbs on occasion.
  • Work in a normal office and/or remote environment. Must be able to sit at a workstation for up to 2-hour intervals. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    The salary range for this role is:

    $128,700.00 - $201,300.00

    This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
