Our employees are our greatest asset as we work to achieve our bold ambitions, and we're looking for the next wave of passionate and ambitious people ready to make a direct impact.Job DescriptionManager, Business Analytics & Commercial ExcellenceDiegem - 3 days a week in officePrimary responsibilitiesEnables data management from internal sources (e.g. CRM, SAP, omnichannel activities etc) and external data providers, 3rd party registries, market research agencies (e.g. Dutch and Belgian data: IQVIA, SFK, Farminform, Pharmascan etc)Manages data flows to / from Global data cloud solution & reporting of data / KPIs to headquarter via internal reporting systemsSupports the definition, development and regular delivery of Market & Business KPIs, dashboards and regular reports based on multiple data sources (incl. Sales Force effectiveness, Veeva CRM/ Omnichannel engagement strategies etc) via analytical/management techniques/toolsDevelops various market/ performance/ activity reports, dashboards, manages reporting systems, models, files to streamline recurring and ad-hoc analyses, KPIs trackingEnsures monthly performance reporting & market highlights in core therapy areasCreates monthly slides and ad-hoc slides in PowerPoint to support presentations of business strategy and performanceRoll out and further improvement of Business Intelligence Tools (e.g. Tableau)Conducts complex analyses in market/performance/Sales Force and Omnichannel activities KPIs & measurements, business forecasts on ad-hoc and regular basisLiaises with internal stakeholders & work closely with Business units, Commercial Operations & Finance team members to facilitate the development of strategic targets, KPIs and segmentation tacticsManages CRM system as Business process owner, supports & train users and ensure data quality and timely updates, collaborates closely with Digital managers/ business teams in case of queries/ related requestsProvides reliable and accurate analyses, actionable insights, conclusions to internal stakeholders (management and business teams) to support decision making on business strategiesContributes significantly to the Forecasting Budget/Latest Estimate process by owning/ running patient models and creating regular strategic forecasts in collaboration with XF teams (Marketing, Medical, MA, Finance etc) for TA markets, supports the creation of graphs, visualizations, slides and a consistent and compelling storyBuild business partnership and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders (Commercial Operations team, affiliate management team, XF Business teams, Global Analytics & Insights, IT teams HQ etc)Actively participates in cross-functional projects that may involve varying therapeutic areas, franchises, and/or business systemsMay participate in meetings with more senior members of the team, presenting recommendations and findingsKnowledge & skills requirementsRelevant experience in a pharmaceutical environmentExperience in complex data management, reporting, statistical analysis, KPIs and forecasting and patient models (3+ years)Ability to assume full responsibility for accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of deliverables completed through own effortsIn-depth knowledge of relevant business software with advanced user skills and visualization skills (e.g, Tableau, Tibco Spotfire, MS Office, Veeva CRM, PowerPoint, Veeva CRM, SAP etc) are requiredAdvanced Excel skills requiredMust be knowledgeable of business intelligence systems, their application within the biopharmaceutical industry, and how various systems communicate with one anotherStrong working knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources (e.g. IQVIA, SFK, Farminform, Pharmascan etc) requiredRequires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to analyze data from multiple sources and communicate findings in a clear and organized mannerMust have ability to use software to meaningfully portray quantitative data in graphical form and a proven track record of effectively communicating technical concepts to stakeholdersHigh level resourcefulness and problem solving skills under pressure are critical to this role.Communication skills: must have demonstrated an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writingMust be able to effectively communicate complex analytical information to non-technical members of the brand team or the senior management (KPIs, omnichannel data etc)Collaborative skills: ability to work productively in the team, cross-functionallyAbility to provide high level professional support to internal stakeholders & senior managers and to establish effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders is imperative.Demonstrate curiosity for innovation and seek for constant improvement and alternative solutionsFluent in English, desirable/optional Dutch & FrenchDesirableKnowledge and experience in relevant TAs (HIV, Liver diseases, Oncology)Experience of work in Dutch and Belgium environment with relevant data sourcesGilead Core ValuesINTEGRITY - Doing What's RightINCLUSION - Encouraging DiversityTEAMWORK - Working TogetherEXCELLENCE - Being Your BestACCOUNTABILITY - Taking Personal ResponsibilityEqual Employment Opportunity (EEO)It is the policy of Gilead Sciences, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively Gilead or the Company ) to recruit select and employ the most qualified persons available for positions throughout the Company.
