The Manager of Channel Strategy is responsible for managing the development and execution of Mondelēz's go to market strategy within key Channels. You will support the Director of Channel Strategy in building multiyear strategic growth plans aligned to Mondelēz US 2030 ambition.
Location: This is a remote role based in the continental United States.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
Support development of 3-year strategy across key customers and channels and define the comprehensive path to get there.Develop the methodology, process, and governance to drive long-term strategic planning; ensure consistent application across key customers and channels.Support organizational buy-in and linkage to Mondelēz strategic objectives and timelines.Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and planning functions to ensure clear ties between in-year and out-year plans.Build plans to execute across digital and physical channels to provide a consistent experience for shoppers.Strategic Insights
Drive long-range situation assessments: market analysis, competitive intelligence, customer intelligence and industry trends to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.Work with cross-functional team to lead the synthesis and analysis of data related to consumer & shopper behavior, market and customer dynamics, and category performance.Apply category management principles and business analytic best practices to identify key category drivers by channel and priority customers.Provide strategic recommendations to drive revenue, profit, and share to key stakeholders based on data-driven insight.Commercial Execution / Customer Activation
Act as voice of sales in long-range commercial transformation projects and planning processes.Assist CBTs in bringing channel strategy to life both internally and in conversations with key customers.What you will bring

Bachelor's Degree is required; Master's degree preferred.5+ years' experience; with time in Insights, Analytics and/or Commercial, Marketing. Experience in CPG or similar industry highly preferred.Strong business and commercial acumen: ability to understand and forecast the business, P&L management, deployment of RGM principles, end-to-end commercial management.Depth of experience in data analytics: critical thinking, modelling, data visualization, MS Excel expertise.Strategic & Critical thinking
Ability to analyze complex situations, foresee potential outcomes, and make decisions that align with long-term goals and objectives.Ability to connect the dots across different sets of information. Strong analytical skills and data fluency (internal data, Nielsen, Circana, Customer Loyalty Card data, etc.).Proficiency in MS Office Suite with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.Able to organize, analyze and interpret large and disparate data sets to derive meaningful insights.Can transform data into a compelling narrative and uses visual storytelling techniques to communicate key takeaways with a focus on the ‘so what/now what'.Able to adapt content and communication style for both MDLZ and external stakeholders (i.e., customers).Entrepreneurial / Growth Mindset
Comfortable building processes for the first time and adapting approach to changing business needs.Strong bias for action, with a proven track record in persuasively influencing and aligning business stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization.Proven ability to partner and communicate with stakeholders at all levels in the organization.The anticipated base salary range for this position is $111,500 to $153,350; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelēz offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and many others. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
