The Client Financial Forecasting Manager is responsible for leading a team of analysts who coordinate and monitor SET client budgets and reforecasts and performs financial analysis. This role requires expert level understanding of the structure, funding, policies, and operations of an organization, and recommends solutions to improve general business processes and planning. This position will collaborate with several business units and/or functions and is considered a subject matter expert in financial and business analysis and forecasting processes across Charter.

  • Work with business stakeholders and financial planners, analyze funding requirements and recommend solutions to achieve financial objectives.
  • Understand the structure, funding, policies, and operations of an organization, and recommend solutions to improve general business processes and planning.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of operating expense and capital forecasts
  • Serve is consultant to management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures
  • Oversee the compilation, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of complex data related to current and future operation.
  • Manage the creation of reports, charts, graphs and presentations to aid in proposing new strategies for successful business changes.
  • Manage the development of project burn reporting for SET clients based on proposal estimates identifying phases and elements, personnel requirements, and costs
  • Analyze multiple data sources to assess trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management, via understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis
  • Make recommendations for solutions or improvements that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology
  • Provide guidance and management advice that has a large impact on cost, efficiency, compliance, service, and quality.
  • Hire, manage and develop direct reports
  • Perform other duties as requested

  • Develop processes for cross-functional skills development within team.

  • Manage development of new products, technologies, and initiatives.

  • Assist in reviewing selections on bids for contracted projects, and provide recommendations as necessary.

  • Contribute to capital budget process and execute approved budget plan.

  • Participate in succession planning.

  • Contribute to the quality and performance of all software solutions created.

  • Develop an organization that supports outcome delivery, resolving technical debt, responding to production issues, improving quality, and investing in speed and team autonomy.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of technical and/or Product Management Experience.
    • 2+ years of experience leading complex projects
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent real-world experience
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
    • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
    • Ability to supervise and motivate others.
    • Ability to work with large, cross-functional teams to achieve business goals and results.
    • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
    • Ability to organize and delegate work.
    • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
    • Ability to develop, communicate and implement strategies and tactics.
    • Ability to manage and deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
  • Travel Ability:
    • Travel as required
  • Schedule:
    • Full time. Office environment. This position is eligible for our Hybrid Work Policy. Eligible employees can work from home up to one day each week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related industry experience- Cable, Telecommunications, Software/Online Services
  • 2+ years of management or leadership experience
  • Strong leadership presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of organization from entry level to SVP
