The successful candidate will be an effective communicator who is energized to deliver exceptional client management services using a strategic mindset -in concert with APX's mission to empower the world's transition to sustainable energy. What you'll do:
    • Serve as primary client relationship manager, business owner, and internal advocate.
    • Foster the growth of relationships, establish and execute strategies for each client to drive profitability.
    • Create and execute engagement plans for each client with a focus on evolving product use-cases and future business development opportunities.
    • Maximize the value of regular touch points with each client, including product/service-related inquiries and associated resolution; some travel may be required.
    • Collaborate with other APX business teams for service and product improvements, drive outcomes.
    • Liaise with industry participants, power market ISOs, and system administrators on behalf of APX and other stakeholders.
    • Evaluate options and make recommendations for product innovation, internal process improvement, and risk mitigation.
    • Lead contracting, renewals, and on-boarding processes.
    • Actively pursue cross-selling and up-selling opportunities with existing clients.
    • Continuously review budget vs. actual revenue, identify and execute on opportunities for growth.
What you'll bring:
    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, technology, engineering, or energy/environmental studies - MBA preferred.
    • Power trading/scheduling, client management, settlements, and/or sales support experience in wholesale power markets, renewables, battery storage, demand response, DERs, and/or SaaS solutions.
    • Detailed knowledge of wholesale power spot market/operational rules for renewable generation, load resources, and battery resources, along with associated settlement mechanics (CAISO,ERCOT, and PJM preferred, with SPP, MISO, NYISO, and ISONE a definite plus).
    • Passion for customer success management across digital technology solutions in the electricity space.
Desired Qualifications:
    • Experience administering SaaS solutions, program materials, and processes.
    • Existing relationships with clients in the power and/or environmental markets.
    • Experience testing software or reporting software issues.
Base SalaryCompensation for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, knowledge, education and training.
