Our teams deliver the Holman Experience by treating our customers and each other as we would like to be treated, and creating positive, rewarding relationships all around.The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.Holman is currently accepting applications for the role of Manager- Cloud Services.Primary Tasks:Plan, implement, and optimize cloud solutions and technology and solutions to meet Holman's needs and goals.Plan and implement the migration of on-premises infrastructure, applications, and workloads to Azure, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.Oversee architecture and engineering efforts for Azure and AWS cloud services.Oversee deployment, configuration and management of cloud infrastructure.Oversee the security posture of our Azure environment, implementing best practice measures to protect company data and resources.Ensure Holman's cloud architecture, design, standards, and operating procedures comply with regulatory requirements such as ISO, PCI, and FTC Safeguard.Standardize and integrate disaster recovery and resiliency strategies across cloud workloads.Ensure public facing services such as web sites and APIs are designed, implemented, and maintained following industry best practices and corporate standards for performance, scalability, resiliency, and security.Develop, maintain, and communicate roadmap and strategic direction for Azure and AWS platforms.Promote the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and DevOps practices for automated deployment and management of all cloud resources.Perform capacity planning to optimize resources and costs.Monitor and report costs ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Implement cost-savings measures to optimize cloud spend.Develop and manage relationships with key cloud suppliers and managed service partners.Develop, maintain and report on KPIs to assess trends in performance, reliability and cost. Develop and implement remediation plans as needed.Assist with annual budgeting. Ensure budget is aligned to capacity/capability requirements and is adhered to once approved.Lead day to day operations of the team including setting goals, performing performance reviews, setting technical direction, and leading project/initiatives.Ensure teams adherence to corporate policies and procedures such as change, incident, problem, and asset management.Ensure all labor capacity is being properly accounted for, kept up-to-date, forecasted, and reported periodically to leadership.Develop and maintain formal and relevant training curriculums for functional areas and track progress.Interact with internal clients on all levels to resolve issues in a timely manner.Identify and research industry trends and emerging technologies to determine benefits to the organization. Recommend solutions that would be beneficial to the organization.Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.Relevant Work Experience:10+ years' experience in IT operations, including 2+ at a leadership level, and 5+ focus on cloud technologies.Proven track record of leading cloud migration initiatives, preferably with Azure.Developing and implementing processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.Education and/or Training:Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.Deep understanding of cloud architecture, security, and services, with relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect: AZ-303 and AZ-304) highly desirable.Expert knowledge of native Azure cloud services as well as virtualization and container concepts and technologies.Advanced proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) as well as automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.).Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus.At Holman, we exist to provide rewarding careers and better lives for employees and their families.
