First line risk management professional to serve as Line of Business /business unit dedicated SME on risk and compliance to support and guide Consumer Banking on best practices. Manage areas of the Consumer Banking processes and oversee the implementation of high-level risk assessments and provide a LOB/business unit view on risk vulnerabilities in comparison to the organization's risk appetite, regulatory expectations and recommend remediation strategies for identified gaps. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as dedicated RM subject matter expert for assigned business unit(s)/lines of business(es).
- Support project initiatives for assigned business unit(s)/lines of business(es).
- Identify, monitor, map and manage core processes for assigned business unit(s)/lines of business(es).
- Conduct and manage end to end RCSA program for assigned units and core processes within Consumer Banking.
- Identify, monitor, maintain and refresh key risk indicators and KRI dashboards for assigned business unit(s)/lines of business(es).
- Prepare, test, and distribute KRI reporting on at least a quarterly basis.
- Develop, maintain, and refresh internal Consumer Banking Risk procedures, policies, and processes.
- Track, manage and close all open issues for assigned business unit(s)/lines of business(es).
- Manage day to day complaint oversight responsibilities to include but not limited to complaint classification, regulatory impact assignment, case management and SLA reviews.
- Manage complaint response SLA reporting.
- Manage assigned business unit(s)/lines of business(es) 3PRM, ISRA activities as required.
- Develop and submit updates and reminders for assigned business unit(s)/lines of business(es).
- Provide ongoing and SME risk consultation to Consumer Bank partners to influence process changes and management support with balanced and effective solutions.
- Assist in regulatory due diligence and compliance requirements.
- Assist in regulatory exam preparation.
- Manage day to day Exception to Procedure processes.
- Manage NMLS Administration.
- Conduct and monitor ad hoc risk related reporting and follow up, track, analyze, and report on any complex risk issues; additional reporting responsibilities as required.
- Additional ad hoc duties may be assigned as needed.
- Support MD/Director CBOR on projects and initiatives.
- Other responsibilities as outlined in the FLRO Addendum.
REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience, required.
- 5-7 years of experience working in audit, operations, risk, compliance.
- CRCM designation desired, but not required.
- Must work well independently and in a team environment.
- Comfortable with emerging technology.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Excel and Visio especially.
- Working knowledge of How 2 Work, Salesforce, and Logic Manager preferred.
- Broad knowledge of compliance, risk, regulatory expectations, and bank best practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, project management, and time management skills.
- Adept at building relationships at multiple levels.
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 USD annually. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
