YOUR PURPOSE:
We're looking for a Content & Copy, Manager who is a powerhouse thinker, writer, doer, and a delight to work with. As an essential member of the Brand & Creative Services team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, writing, proofreading, and editing content for digital (SEO) and physical experiences, guest-facing interactions, and presentations. The project variety here is endless, and you'll work on everything from brand positioning to program identities, pitch decks, social media posts and content series, print ads, promotional campaigns, digital signage, emails, event invitations, digital experiences, web & app content creation, corporate communications and more.
The role, reporting into the Director of Brand Management and Creative Development, requires exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for varied projects with diverse audiences.
YOUR ROLE:
* Content Creation & Storytelling
* Effectively craft messages for a wide range of mediums using your exceptional storytelling skills; Understand, shape, and implement appropriate brand voice(s).
* Create error-free content that's in line with our brand guidelines.
* Presentations & Collaboration
* Collaborate with internal partners to understand business objectives and expectations to create elegant, user-friendly results and produce powerful, culturally relevant, and sharable/actionable marketing campaigns.
* Actively participate in review sessions, brainstorms, concepting, and development of work product working with internal stakeholders and agency partners.
* Present creative materials to the management team and/or business stakeholders.
* Mentorship & Development
* Mentor junior writers and creatives and commit to evolving and elevating content.
* Monitor and promote emerging trends in content and marketing tactics.
* Clearly and efficiently communicate ideas and rationale to the creative team and stakeholders and ensure all copy deadlines are met.

YOUR QUALIIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field.
* 8+ years of experience at a creative or ad agency or in-house creative department (salaried or freelance), including experience with digital experience, brand, event, transactional, and promotional marketing.
* An extensive portfolio showcasing campaign work across a variety of media - social, print, out-of-home, event collateral, web, mobile app, etc. Experience writing manifestos, a plus.
* Brand experience helpful as well as a blend of strategic and strong executional skills required-must be extremely organized, able to proofread copy, and possess a critical eye for detail. Must have knowledge of AP Style writing guidelines as well as experience in creating/managing brand writing guidelines and brand lexicon.
* Results-driven creator, with a sound understanding of graphic design, and a keen appreciation for the interplay between textual and visual elements.
* Openness to constructive criticism and flexibility with regards to adaptation and modification.
* Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking and highly flexible go-getter with a high capacity to initiate and complete multiple, concurrent projects, multi-task, prioritize and pivot.
* A strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles and the ability to prioritize work with demanding deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work with and diplomatically influence all levels of the organization.
* Thrives in fast-paced, at times stressful, start-up environment, while always keeping a positive attitude. Thoughtful, calm, and patient problem-solver with good discretion.
