Description Position at CMI Media Group Are you passionate about legal oversight and strategic collaboration? We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Manager, Contracting & Commercial Affairs. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our EVP, Client Finance, and CFO in managing agency agreements and ensuring legal integrity. The Manager, Contracting & Commercial Affairs will provide essential support to EVP, Client Finance, and CFO by reviewing and drafting agency agreements, managing contract redlines, and ensuring compliance with legal standards. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, external legal counsel, and WPP legal resources. Responsibilities:
- Review and draft agency agreements including client master service agreements, amendments, NDAs, and scopes of work.
- Manage ongoing redlines and revisions with internal leadership and external legal counsel.
- Assist in the development of agency contract templates.
- Ensure contractual compliance and maintain contract summaries.
- Research and report on relevant laws and regulations.
- Support any agency litigation requests (infrequent).
- Schedule meetings with stakeholders and attorneys.
- Organize and maintain client contracts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited program preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in a legal office or department.
- Proven track record in handling corporate legal matters.
- Experience in legal management, including contract review, negotiation, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Flexible schedule and ability to travel as needed.
