Job Summary: The Manager, Corporate Meetings and Travel will function as the primary liaison and lead for managing logistic needs of Corporate Meetings. The Manager will report to the Head of Brand Procurement Services and have working relationships with Sales Training Team, Brand Managers and third party Logistic Companies. Interacts with internal departments including, but not limited to, All Brand Teams, Administrative Assistants, Travel group etc. Responsibilities:

  • Manage corporate meetings and events through the implementation of strategy, delivery of objectives and execution of logistics, while effectively working with internal business teams and external logistic agencies.
  • Responsible for coordination of all program planning from post contract execution to final billing.
  • Work closely with Business Teams to understand and meet program objectives / outcomes.
  • Creation of budget working with stakeholders. Have the approvals in place before execution. Ensure adherence and reconciliations.
  • Help in choosing property as per parameters defined.
  • Understanding of Airline Ticketing, Airlines negotiations, SAP Concur (for travel Booking)
  • Understanding of Hotel room bookings and negotiate Hotel Contracts for employee stays.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in event or meeting management preferred.
  • Minimum three years of pharmaceutical meeting planning experience required.
  • Domestic destination knowledge required, international destination knowledge a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of program / event management and budget maintenance.
  • Prior successful experience in developing and maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Operations experience in hospitality industry or equivalent a plus and knowledge of Travel Agency
  • Proven aptitude for technology and / or software solutions and analytical skills required.
  • Experience with Cvent desired.
  • CMP designation a plus.
  • Prior experience in effectively handling multiple projects / demands.
  • Ability to travel
Education:
  • College degree required.
Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan.
