As part of the Stop & Shop in-house creative team, the Creative Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the production and delivery of the creative team as well as the Photography Studio. They will project manage the process of turning creative ideas into tangible outputs across a variety of mediums. This role is partially operations-focused, involving the management and optimization of internal processes, staffing, and ways of working. Additionally, the Creative Services Manager is partially project-management focused, developing schedules, and overseeing the delivery of projects or programs. They are responsible for the allocation of team resources, across multiple, often complex, projects at any one time. They ensure that work is delivered on time, on strategy, and within budget. They know how to connect the dots, feel comfortable in managing projects and other teams to guarantee the best delivery to business partners. They're also passionate about finding solutions, optimizing processes and optimal delivery of projects. Job Responsibilities: Meet with marketing leads on a regular basis to determine business needs and manage expectations. Help define the projects' business objectives and requirements with marketing leads. In collaboration with the Design Manager, they will assign teams to projects, overseeing day-to-day performance of the team, and ensuring project deadlines are met. In collaboration with the Producer and Photographer, they will manage complex shoot requests. Keeping track of project development and production spending while also looking for opportunities to add value, increase efficiency and reduce costs. Production of project plans, tracking, schedules, deliverables & forecasting reports. Implementing management methodologies, such as Agile to accelerate and improve the deliverables of multiple projects. Anticipating and communicating risks and crisis in projects and troubleshooting issues that could slow down the process. Managing change requests in specifications required during the project delivery phase. Play a lead role in creative project kickoffs. Benchmarking budget expenditures against projections. Partner with the Creative Director and Design Manager to forecast future projects and team workload. Manage the operations of the photography/video studio. Demonstrate creative thought leadership, keeping ahead of trends and providing proactive inspiration and recommendations to the studio. Supervises Traffic Coordinators, Producer and Photographer. Ability to effectively manage up to the marketing leadership team and communicate workload status. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in operations and/or project management (fast paced retail environment preferred). Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in managing people, demonstrating leadership, decision-making and team-building skills. Bachelor's degree-ideally in art, graphic design, advertising or a related field. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications are a plus. Creative/design background preferred. Has worked in an advertising/design agency/environment covering digital and print. Experience in working in multidisciplinary teams and navigating creative and business partner dynamics. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software. Expert in the Microsoft suite of products. Experience with project management software like WorkFront. Exceptional organizational skills, methodical and detail-oriented, yet people-centric and diplomatic communicators. Digital and print production guru. Requirement to work in office or studio 3 days per week. The starting salary for this position is $120,960 and will be commensurate with background, experience as well as internal equity.Stop & Shop is an equal opportunity employer.
