We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Laboratory Manager to lead our Laboratory Services Team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a commitment to quality patient care, and a deep understanding of laboratory operations.
The Manager Critical Access Laboratory is responsible for the technical and scientific oversight of the laboratory, daily operations, problem resolution, quality improvement, coordination of section and site functions, allocation of resources and staff development, performing and recording competency assessment, and compliance with all CAP/CLIA, regulatory, and Adena Health System policies and procedures.
* Position: Full Time, Laboratory Manager
* Hours: Day shift, with flexibility to cover staffing needs and night rounding.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead patient experience and quality improvement initiatives within the department and hospital.
* Provide staff development through orientation, coaching, performance management, and educational planning.
* Manage FTE allocation, departmental budget, and resources to ensure efficient operations.
* Foster professional communication and collaboration across Adena Health System and with the community.
* Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (CAP/CLIA, CMS proficiency testing).
* Oversee daily lab operations to maintain efficiency and meet budgetary goals.
* Promote high standards of behavior and customer service in all interactions with staff, patients, and families.
* Maintain competency in all laboratory areas
* Oversee facility accreditation and inspections, including CAP/CLIA certification.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree (Medical Lab Technology)
* Medically Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology
* 5 years experience in a clinic laboratory with high complexity testing with 2 years experience in a supervisory position.
