Are you a passionate data analytics leader with a knack for data accuracy, innovation, and a drive to deliver actionable insights? Tillster is seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Data Analytics team. If you have 3+ years' experience growing and managing a Data Analytics team coupled with 5+ years of experience in data analytics for ecommerce, marketing/CRM, business or financial analysis, we want to talk with you.
What you will be doing
- Lead and mentor a high-performing analytics team, fostering professional growth and driving innovation by integrating AI-driven solutions and evaluating buy vs. build options.
- Design and communicate complex data insights to stakeholders, ensuring data-driven strategies align with business and customer objectives.
- Collaborate in defining the data collection strategy and be the lead subject matter expert in Google Analytics.
- Champion the design, implementation, and analysis of A/B tests to optimize customer experiences and drive business performance.
- Support ad hoc data analysis for Tillster customers, executives, and other stakeholders to surface patterns in the data and identify areas to improve KPIs (engagement, average check, coupon usage, loyalty usage, conversions, orders, etc.).
- Develop and update dashboards for business stakeholders such as Marketing, Product, Finance, Engineering, Account Management, and Support/Operations.
- Create new analysis explores to enable non-technical analysts to access data, build dashboards, and solve critical business challenges on Looker technology.
- Build reusable services and components to add to our company-wide libraries in SQL, Python and Looker.
- QA and code reviews to ensure maximum quality and accuracy.
- Responsible for data product quality standards and validation test plans and test cases.
- Work collaboratively with smart and passionate software engineers, data engineers, data scientists, BI developers, and other internal/external key stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years as a hands-on manager, leading a Data Analytics team in a fast-paced environment.
- 5+ years of experience with data analytics, including the use of BI tools such as Looker or Tableau to drive business outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science/Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and communicate effectively across different levels of the organization.
- Expertise in data visualization that is clear and easy to understand.
- Strong written and verbal communications; including but not limited to customer engagement and presentations.
- Ability to find meaning in KPIs and a curiosity that digs deep when metrics do not seem to tell a full story.
- Expertise in advanced SQL, Big Query, Redshift, and/or Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience with Git (Bitbucket, Gitlab, GitHub, etc.).
- Experience conducting A/B tests and analyzing pre-post data under various circumstances.
- Experience in deep dive analysis with vague requirements to support creative discoveries that drive business value.
- Demonstrated success working in a collaborative Agile team environment.
Pay and Benefits (USA)
- Expected base salary range $135,000 - $155,000. Total starting compensation will be determined based on all lawful criteria, Company policy and best practices.

- Holidays: The company observes ten (10) paid holidays per calendar year.
