Job Title: Manager, Data Strategy
Job Status: Full-time
Job Summary: Under limited direction from a senior level manager, the Data Strategy Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a data strategy for the organization overall, departments and individual programs that provide leaders across the organization with information to make data-informed decisions. In addition, the Data Strategy Manager will identify and recommend additional organizational capacity needed to effectively utilize data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Build and maintain internal relationships with programs across the organization to understand their data needs and requirements
+ Collaborate with external stakeholders on data collection as it relates to ACCESS data priorities
+ Develop and implement tailored data solutions for each program addressing specific data challenges and enhancing data utilization to meet program objectives
+ Evaluate data collection instruments and processes for all departments and programs across the organization to inform future data solutions
+ Ensure data governance practices are adhered to, maintaining data integrity and compliance across all levels of the organization
+ Collaborate with the Office of Evaluation and Learning (OEL) and IT in the implementation of program level data strategies
+ In collaboration with the OEL, build relationships with departments across ACCESS, including communications, development, national institutions, and the executive office, to identify data needs and develop a plan to address their data needs and goals
+ Convene and collaborate with communications and development to leverage data effectively for storytelling, donor engagement, and funding proposals
+ Convene and coordinate with research and policy teams to align ACCESS data collection with research and policy priorities and federal and state data collection
+ Develop data collection processes, procedures, and privacy protocols for programs and departments
+ Coordinate with new programs on their data collection processes and procedures
+ Develop recommendations for additional data capacity needed at the organization, including data quality, analysis, and visualization
+ Lead the data strategy committee at ACCESS
+ Oversee the development and continuous refinement of the organization-s data architecture in collaboration with IT to support the scalability and effectiveness of data initiatives
+ Provide training and resources to enhance staff competencies in data usage
+ Operate standard office equipment and use required software applications
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

+ Use statistical methods, data mining techniques, and predictive analytics to inform decision-making and drive business strategy

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
+ Minimum Degree Required:
+ Master-s degree
+ Required Disciplines:
+ Business Management, Public Relations, Social Work, Public Health, Non-Profit

+ Minimum 3 to 5 years- experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting. Any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training approved by Human Resources

Hours: Normal business hours, some additional hours may be required
