** MANAGER, DATA WAREHOUSE- remote****Job Category****:** GA **Requisition Number****:** MANAG002026 Showing 1 location **Job Details****Description****POSITION SUMMARY:** The Manager, Data Warehouse is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, andsupport of the Companys data warehousing and data mart technologies and systems.**RESPONSIBILITIES ** Satisfactorily performing and/or achieving the following Responsibilities are essential duties ofthe job.* Lead the activities of data warehouse team in the design, development, and implementation of data warehouses; andthe configuration and auditing of data warehouses to ensure quality control of data.* Provide guidance regarding the use of data warehouse systems, capability of systems to deliver information, andsubject matter expertise regarding current systems and emerging technology.* Be a thought leader and driving force behind data initiatives.* Learn our users' needs both from a historical/warehouse perspective and an operational/transactional perspective.* Create standards and conventions for data warehouse, analytics, and ETL systems. Lead governance and enforcementof standards.* Understand user needs as well as understand the technical requirements and limitations when building platformservices.* Set a strategy vision for various platform components and related services to increase adoption and deliver businessresults.* Work with business stakeholders across lines of business to evaluate requirements, potential solutions and prioritizecore platform features.* Seek formal and informal performance assessments, including performance versus expectations and goals, behaviors,and leadership potential.* Actively participate in required training and development programs and electives as suits ones needs, and supportcolleagues, trainers, and management as appropriate with these efforts.* Promote the Companys Mission and Values, including an accountable, innovative, and results-oriented culture thatpromotes customer service, openness, teamwork, mutual trust, and respect.**What You Need:*** Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, business, or a related fieldrequired; advanced degree in Computer Science, Math, or Physics strongly preferred. Five (5) years of industryexperience required along with Six (5) years of Data Warehouse experience.
