Together, we're moving the future of transportation forward with our innovative, customer-focused solutions.Our culture is performance driven, where we encourage and support each other to be at our best through leadership, training, tools, and rewards.We are proud to make a positive difference to the lives of our colleagues, customers, and communities where we operate.Job Responsibilities:Directs sales of vehicles through all available channels within assigned area.Coordinates and provides guidance to Ops Sales & Supply Chain to achieve 'Right Car Right Place' for sale of vehicles at auctions and other channels.Attends auctions to sell cars, monitor market conditions and maintain reasonable inventory levels.Manages promotional sales events at various locations to optimize vehicle values.Coordinates with National Car Sales Team to adjust pricing when needed.Analyzes and collects competitive sales and pricing data.Monitors and enforces pricing for off-rent vehicles, damaged/wrecked vehicles, commercial truck inventory, retail trade-in vehicles and other inventory that becomes eligible for sale.Maintains positive relationships with auctions and potential buyers in assigned area.Resolves buyer disputes/arbitrations.Tracks payments from all sales in the region to ensure proper and timely proceeds receipt.Monitors inventory levels and holds selling locations accountable for all ABG inventory.Enforces and revises established vehicle sales policies as required.Negotiates sale, transport, and repair fees with various vendors.Qualifications:College Degree Required.Experience in wholesale vehicle sales and familiarity with wholesale vehicle auction process strongly preferred.Previous experience with rental car or other fleet organizations preferred.Effective communication and creative issue resolution skills.Ability to successfully interact with vendors, customers, and internal employees.Excellent computer skills with strong experience in Excel.Good Negotiation Skills.Ability to work with a sense of urgency.Strong Self-Motivator.Ability to organize and follow through on a wide variety of simultaneous tasks.Experience with AutoIMS preferred.Benefits you'll receive:Paid time off401K retirement plan with company matched contributionsAccess to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insuranceEligible to elect other voluntary benefits including: Group Legal, Identity Theft, Insurance, FSA, additional life insurance coveragesContribute up to $260 as a tax-free benefit for public transportation or parking expensesEmployee discounts, including discounted prices on purchase of Avis/Budget carsAccess to an Employee Assistance Program for services including counseling, financial and legal consultation, referrals for care service, and moreThe fine print:Avis Budget Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran or any other category protected by applicable law.This advertisement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of employment.
