  • The Manager, Donor Reporting & Development Operations will support the management of partnerships with the GIINs institutional funders
  • Produce well-crafted donor reports for foundations, governments, and corporate funders that present the GIINs market building activities with clarity, elevating key achievements relative to funder priorities.
  • Support and/or assume grant management for assigned portfolio of funders, including:
  • Creating grant overview documents to ensure clear understanding of grant commitments across Development, Program, and Finance teams.
  • Coordinating with the Finance team on grant administrative details
  • Corresponding with funders for administrative purposes as needed
  • Manage weekly and monthly internal team meetings, including but not limited to scheduling, coordinating agendas, and capturing key discussion items.
  • Manage internal Development team trackers, processes, and workplans.
Duties/Responsibilities:Responsibilities:Donor Reporting
  • Produce well-crafted donor reports for foundations, governments, and corporate funders that present the GIINs market building activities with clarity, elevating key achievements relative to funder priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Development team and/or GIIN program teams to ensure compliance to and completion of grant obligations, including but not limited to key performance indicators, project deliverables and milestones, and specific reporting requirements.
  • Manage internal organization-wide quarterly reporting by GIIN program teams, including:
    • Developing and/or updating internal reporting templates for new grants
    • Gathering and ensuring high-quality, accurate, and relevant information/data.
    • Liaising with program staff to ensure appropriate and clear framing or presentation of activities
Development Operations
  • Support and/or assume grant management for assigned portfolio of funders, including:
    • Creating grant overview documents to ensure clear understanding of grant commitments across Development, Program, and Finance teams.
    • Coordinating with the Finance team on grant administrative details
    • Corresponding with funders for administrative purposes as needed
  • Maintain institutional donor files and grant records, including tracking relevant funder information, proposal and reporting timelines, and other funder-related actions and information in Salesforce and other internal systems.
  • Generate Salesforce reports regarding grant activity and deadlines on a regular basis.
  • Manage weekly and monthly internal team meetings, including but not limited to scheduling, coordinating agendas, and capturing key discussion items.
  • Manage internal Development team trackers, processes, and workplans.
  • Coordinate with other GIIN teams to develop, implement, and integrate organization-wide processes, as needed.
Other Responsibilities
  • Contribute to grant application process, including compiling organizational and board information, drafting responses to specific questions, managing online submissions through funder grant portals, etc.
  • Contribute to the donor pipeline development process, including but not limited to conducting research on funding activities and priorities of prospective funders, as needed.
  • Provide administrative support for sponsorships of the annual GIIN Impact Forum, including fulfillment of sponsorship benefits, as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent writer and critical thinker who can capture the GIINs market-building work from developing tools for impact measurement and management and piloting impact performance benchmarks, to mobilizing investments in climate solutions and advancing the impact practices of institutional asset owners in a clear, structured, and compelling manner.
  • Adeptness in learning new concepts or topics.
  • Detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and high standards of performance.
  • Team-oriented, professional, resourceful, flexible, and highly responsible.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite and experience in Salesforce or similar CRM tool.
  • Experience with international donor community a plus.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree required (communications, journalism, business, international development or policy majors are welcomed).
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience demonstrating strong writing and editing abilities, organizational skills, and strategic thinking.
