Description
The Manager, Financial Reporting will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy of the Company. This position is responsible for developing and managing financial models, conducting analysis of financial performance, and providing insight to leaders in the business through the monthly management reporting process, as well as the quarterly forecast and annual budget processes. This role will collaborate across the Company's divisions and departments as part of these processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Preparation of internal management reporting, comparing actual results to budget and prior year, inclusive of variance analysis and commentary.
* Creation, preparation, and analysis of key performance indicators and Company metrics.
* Completion of ad hoc requests for financial analysis to support strategic planning decisions and business plans.
* Managing consolidation of results needed for production of reporting packages for redistribution operations, inclusive of uploading results into the Company's main ERP system.
* Leading assigned portions of the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
* Perform reconciliation of monthly management reporting to the general ledger to ensure accuracy.
* Production of select board reporting schedules and supporting commentary.
* Present financial findings, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders
Requirements
* Strong organizational skills including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills while focusing on details.
* Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
* Ability to identify, analyze and communicate variances between actual results, budget and forecast.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of discussing and explaining financial details to non-financial stakeholders.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience required.
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
* MBA or professional certification (CFA or CPA) preferred, but not required.
Additional Comments:
* Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. M-F
* Position is based out of our corporate office in Wayne, PA, where we work on a hybrid schedule (Monday and Friday remote and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the offices in Wayne, PA).
* Travel: None
