Datadog's Finance team collaborates with teams across the organization, providing commercial, operational and analytical support to ensure that Datadog's business continues to grow as rapidly and efficiently as possible.We are looking for a Manager, Financial Systems with a technical background and a strong understanding of financial processes, especially in ERP systems (NetSuite). You will oversee and manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of all of our financial systems to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations across the organization. You will solve complex business problems and deliver a world-class service to our customers and stakeholders. Emphasis on Project Management and the ability to manage timelines, resources and technical ability is imperative. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.What You'll Do:Lead and Develop Team : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of financial systems analysts, ensuring the successful execution of projects and the continuous development of team members. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and professional growth while driving the team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the organization's financial systems needsOptimize Systems: Lead the implementation, and optimization of Finance Systems using native and customized functionality ensuring scalability and complexity are addressed in custom solutions and integrations.Strategic Project Management: Manage and oversee end-to-end enhancement projects across finance and other departments, including project planning, stakeholder engagement, timeline management, testing, deployment, and comprehensive documentation.Problem Resolution Leadership: Take ownership of troubleshooting process, application, and functional issues, leading these efforts through to resolution while continuously improving processes and systems.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, translate these into system requirements, and deliver solutions that align with strategic objectives.System Training and User Support: Lead the training and support initiatives for system end-users, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively use the financial systems.Expand Technical Expertise: Continuously grow your technical and functional expertise in NetSuite and auxiliary SaaS systems, including Coupa, Adaptive Planning, Expensify, Floqast, BREX, and others, staying updated on best practices and emerging technologies.Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, system optimizations, and automation that can improve efficiency and accuracy across financial operations.Who You Are:Extensive Functional Experience: In-depth functional experience with financial processes in Coupa, NetSuite, and related systems, with a proven ability to design and optimize workflows and integrations.Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of databases and system integration capabilities of NetSuite with various SaaS providers, including Coupa, Blackline, Adaptive, and others.Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in delivering and managing integration design and implementation between SaaS systems in a multi-entity organization.Leadership Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of experience working on ERP platforms, with a focus on financial systems, and at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role.Strategic Impact: Experience with influencing strategy, driving tactics, and overseeing the execution of financial systems projects that align with broader business goals.Expertise in Automation and Data Integration: Advanced proficiency in Tableau and SQL for automating complex data processes and financial reporting, including demonstrated experience with middleware tools (ie Workato) to integrate and automate workflows between various financial systems, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual intervention.Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field is requiredBonus points: NetSuite Certified Developer/Administrator or Consultant preferred Public Company/Audit/SOD and SOX ExperienceDatadog values people from all walks of life.
