Job Description
Technical Operations, Engineering, and Cyber Security within NBCU Operations and Technology division is an $800M+ operating cash flow ($1.1B FCF). The group functions as a global shared service within NBCUniversal performing critical functions including Media, Broadcast and Studio Operations & Production, Content Supply Chain, Information Technology and Engineering, as well as Cyber Security. The group operates from numerous locations around the world, including New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Denver, and London.
The FP&A Manager will play an integral role on the Tech Ops, Engineering, Cyber (TOEC) FP&A team, which oversees the consolidation and analysis of financial information (OCF, Capital, Headcount, Allocations) across multiple lines of business. The position offers unique exposure to strategic planning that has an enterprise-wide impact. This role will report to the VP of FP&A for Tech Ops, Engineering, Cyber and will manage the Capital and Allocation processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage consolidation and analysis of $300M capital and $700M allocation portfolios
* Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, and provide regular reporting on financial performance, variances, and trends
* Identify and streamline system operations, reporting, and forecasting processes
* Collaborate with finance leads to tell an effective, concise, and consistent financial story
* Support Controllership and HQ FP&A in monthly and quarterly closes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial performance
* Build effective business partner relationships with internal/external stakeholders
* Perform various ad-hoc analyses including variance analysis, sensitivities, and other requests from senior management
Leadership and Culture
* Bring a collaborative, hands-on approach to the work, and focus on team members' careers and professional development
* Promote a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables
* Develop open communication and productive work relationships with senior leadership, operations leads, and the broader finance team
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
* BS/BA degree Finance, Accounting, or related field
* 3+ years public and/or private accounting or FP&A experience preferred
* Solid financial and analytical skills including the ability to create complex financial models and efficiently communicate results
* Proficient with MS Office Suite products - particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
* Accounting / GAAP knowledge

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
