Position Overview: The Harrisburg Senators Baseball Club are seeking a creative, driven, & energetic individual for the role of Manager, Game Day Promotions & Programming. The ideal candidate will be a creative & quick thinker who will help bring Senators baseball entertainment and theme nights to new levels. The successful candidate should continue the Senators success in delivering fan-first, family friendly entertainment to Central PA. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Creation and implementation of Senators promotional schedule
o Oversee theme night committees o Oversee design, bid process and ordering of giveaways o Oversee booking of special appearances and travelling acts o Oversee nightly set-up and tear down of theme night activities and decorations.
- Manage Senators on-line promotional calendar to be up-to-date with events, themes, giveaways and sponsors as they change through the year
- Help coordinate with marketing team the release of the annual promotional schedule
o Create and oversee on-field entertainment, including: o Creative and fun between inning games o Pre-game ceremonies and performances o Will need to work with sales team and community relations department to help coordinate.
- Write daily script and deliver to control room for Public Address announcer, video board operators, etc.
o Work in conjunction with Video Production Manager to ensure timing is correct and feasible.
- Coordinate the execution of all game-day events including between inning promotions, pre-game ceremonies, etc.
- Handle all Senators website updates and maintenance with assistance from creative services and marketing departments.
- Assist Manager, Creative Services with graphic design needs
- Proactively seek opportunities to create memorable experiences for all fans at FNB Field.
- Additional duties as assigned by Team President & Asst. General Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in Minor League Baseball a plus
- Outgoing and creative personality not afraid to talk to fans at the ballpark
- Self-motivated & hard-working
- Ability to work and communicate well with others
- Ability to multi-task
