Essential Functions of the position are detailed below and include any physical requirements below that.1.As a key member of the Government and Foundation Advancement team, the Grants Manager serves as a liaison between the agency and its funders and oversees primary grants development documents and data.2.The Manager-Government and Foundation Grants is also responsible for researching, preparing, submitting, and managing grant proposals/reports that support agency goals and meet funder guidelines and criteria. 3.This person serves as a primary grant writer and oversees/executes on compliance reporting.Core Responsibilities1. Maintains grant systems and processes and ensures document/data integrity.2. Executes highly effective grant research and writing procedures.3. Identifies, tracks, and pursues potential grant opportunities from foundation sources.4. Writes and edits grant proposals and compiles supporting documents based on application requirements to execute submissions.5. Comprehensively learns, researches, and understands Catholic Charities programs, clients, structure, history, financial needs, and any other relevant information to support grant writing.6. Assists grants team leadership with maintaining the tracking system for timely submission of proposals.7. Prepares and submits funder reports.Collaboration1. Lead the processes for grant seeking approval in collaboration with Senior Director and other leaders across CCAC2. Build trusted relationships and collaboratively partner with internal and external leaders to:3. Curate and grow CCAC's foundation grants portfolio, ensuring alignment with CCAC's mission, strategy, operating objectives, financial targets, and client service goals.4. Ensure excellence in grant writing management (e.g., reporting, compliance, completion/sign off, and, as appropriate, renewals).5. Administer a regular, robust grant prospecting/research process.6. Ensure all communications, messaging, and outreach strategies align and build upon CCAC's overarching objectives.Team Membership1. Stewards funder relationships with integrity, display excellence in grant writing, and clearly communicate with funders.2. Maintain proactive, accurate, and detailed records of all activities.3. Utilize multiple platforms, including but not limited to Raisers Edge/NXT, Monday.com, and Microsoft 365.4. Seek out and be responsive to mentorship/development.5. Partner with other staff across the organization on implementation of an integrated system of content management and software to support best-in-class grant writing management.6. Be a strong partner in supporting our grant management system and team.7. Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and research skills.
