With thatresponsibility comes accountability, creativity, and attention to detail.Job SummaryThe Group Sales Manager will be a expert in selling group tickets to Chicago Wolves games to variousorganization and companies. This candidate has the desire to sell, leadership capabilities and has thefollow through to make sure all personal and departmental goals are achieved. This individual will seekto develop business relationship to gain revenue by selling group tickets business and various groups forthe Chicago Wolves. Heshe will work regular office hours andor event hours including evenings,weekends, and holidays. A core function of a Group Sales Account Manager will be leading as well asgenerating new revenue through outbound calls, client meetings, custom emails, events, cross-sellingand generating referrals.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet and exceed personal revenue goals set by the leadership team.
- Meet and exceed departmental revenue goals set by leadership team.
- Help lead the group sales team and business plan with key group ticket initiatives including theme nights & events, large scale programs, special offers, and fan experience packages.
- Solicit new business opportunities for Group Sales department.
- Handle day-to-day group sales operations: fielding inbound calls, conducting outbound call
- blocks, and scheduling off site meetings with clients.
- Develop flyers, collateral, and promotions materials for events.
- Plan and coordinate theme night promotions and special events for businesses, fans, and all applicable clients to create new revenue streams.
- Assist with group sales processes including planning campaigns, sales timeline/calendar,
- group sales & retention events, along with continued training and on-boarding the ticketing
- team.
- Maintain and develop relationships with important group sales clients.
- Implement year-round communication strategies to enhance the customer experience.
- Embrace and support fan development initiatives, creative ticket sales ideas, and community.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Internal drive to succeed as an individual while contributing to team success.
- Proven ability and a passion for sales.
- Ability to sell both conceptual and transactional inventory through the entire sales process from prospect identification, contact, ideation, presentation to close.
- A strong focus on prospecting, relationship sales and customer retention.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to function in fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Available to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and personal transportation.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree required (Business, Communications, Marketing, Sales, preferred).
- History of academic excellence measured by GPA and/or standardized test scores.
- Minimum 4 years prior sales experience with a proven record of sales achievements.

- High energy; ability to remain focused on sales goals and work independently.
