Manager - Health Information Management - Full Time

Position Summary:

* Utilizing knowledge in all aspects of health information management, state and federal privacy laws, and access/release of information practices.

* Utilizing strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate, lead, and deal with others.

* Understanding of customer service-related practices.

* Dealing with complex situations and multi-disciplinary groups.

* Using computerized systems, whether main frame, networked, or PC-based.

* Able to understand internet communications.

Education Required: Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience Required: 3-5 years prior management experience with comparable FTE's.

Licensure/Certification Required: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) OR Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
