Job Type Full-timeDescriptionKey Responsibilities:Hartzell Propeller is seeking a Human Resource Manager to play a strategic role in our current multi-site business acquisition strategy. This role involves providing comprehensive leadership and support for all Human Resource functions. The HR Manager will be required to travel and collaborate closely with General Managers and the Site teams to provide appropriate HR support. Key responsibilities include ensuring HR compliance at each site and facilitating harmonization of HR practices across all businesses. Additionally, the HR Manager will play a significant role in the hiring and onboarding process to ensure that we are attracting and hiring the right talent for the business. Key Deliverables of the Position:1) Ensure a strong, trust-based relationship between employees and the companya. Keep a finger on the pulse of the organization and promote company culture through employee interactions, our hiring process and other HR related activities.b. Establish relationships with employees at every level in the organization - earn their trust/confidence and respect. 2) Develop and integrate systems that help managers consistently and efficiently hire the right people at the right time. 3) Play a significant role in attracting and recruiting top talent.4) Ensure that new employees are properly onboarded, adequately trained and developed.5) Ensure all employee records and files meet strict guidelines for accuracy, completeness, and organization to all controlling legal authorities and to Hartzell standards. 6) Ensure legal compliance with federal, state and other government requirements through required postings, mailings, affirmative action requirements, EEO reporting, updated policies and audits.First Year Success Factors1) Build relationships with the General Manager at each site and understand each business's unique needs.a. Familiarize self with each site, culture and HR challenges.2) Standardize HR processes where possible and customize where necessary.a. Develop HR policies and procedures that align with all legal requirements.3) Support the implementation of the HRIS system, Paylocity, to ensure employees are appropriately paid and the system has connectivity to Hartzell.4) Support the harmonization of benefits across all sites to be consistent with Hartzell Aviation.5) Implement the Hartzell SMART goal process across all sites.RequirementsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field with a minimum of 7-10 years of HR generalist or specialist experience required; The ideal candidate has broad HR experience. The candidate must be willing to travel.Technical Competencies:1) Attract and Recruiting Top Talent - Experience with the recruiting and hiring process including college outreach, job postings, resume screening and interview skills.a. Includes college outreach, job postings, resume screening, candidate scheduling and behavioral interviewing skills2) Employee Relationsa. Ability to manage various types of employee transitions and disciplinary situations in accordance with relevant laws and regulationsb. Focus on culture and doing the right thing for the workforce3) Compliance - Demonstrated understanding of Labor Laws related to Wage and Hour, ERISA, Drug Testing, EEO and VETs reporting and Affirmative Action.4) Benefits: a.
