We support flexible working arrangements wherever possible.Position SummaryThe Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing human resources leadership and support to the Dayton, Ohio facility. Support duties include providing significant consultation and direction in the Human Resources area to client groups (interface with plant managers, department managers and below, including the hourly production colleagues) regarding talent management, colleague relations, compensation administration, performance management, organizational effectiveness, benefits and wellness initiatives, talent acquisition, and any other human resources initiatives impacting client groups. Establish relationship and leadership position in Dayton, as well as with the overall Auto Care team.ResponsibilitiesSupports implementation of HR strategies and initiatives in partnership with Human Resources Team to develop structure, business processes, performance systems, solutions and metrics to enable client group to execute and achieve their business targets.Provide specific insights to help the Centers of Excellence align overall strategies with operations specific requirements.Serves as a change agent and consultant in support of the Company's vision, mission, culture and strategy. Support ongoing Engagement initiatives, through communication, education and advocacy. Partner with leaders to understand colleague feedback in engagement surveys, and to implement aligned action plans.Promotes the role of Human Resources and enhances the credibility of the function; work collaboratively with Human Resource team members to proactively share best practices and processes.Partner with the plant leadership team to provide strategic Human Resources guidance to the facility. This includes colleague development, implementation and/or oversight of training, contingency planning, workforce planning, compensation, and performance management programs.Work in collaboration with the leadership team to identify the staffing needs, continually assess and develop organization structure in order to meet future needs of organization.Develop effective recruitment strategies and ensure that they are strategically aligned with recruitment goals. Monitor company requirements for management and professional personnel and available supply of qualified candidates. Utilize various sourcing and recruitment methods to identify and select the most qualified candidates while minimizing time to fill.Coach and counsel managers and colleagues. Resolve issues in order to maintain positive colleague relations while at the same time, optimizing organization performance.Advise plant personnel on interpretation and administration of HR related policies.Ensure legal compliance and mitigate the company's risk through understanding of relevant employment laws. Track/monitor necessary information related to AA/EEO/FMLA/etc.In collaboration with leadership team administer talent review/succession planning process, including career progression paths for each functional area.Drive the full utilization of the performance management process to include objective setting, performance reviews, and calibration process. Ensure accurate and timely feedback to colleagues.Monitor colleague relations programs (colleague assistance, culture, complaint handling, benefits communication/administration) to facilitate colleague engagement.Successfully manage and maintain company's HRIS system for Dayton location colleagues.Ensure new colleagues receive thorough introduction and training to their position and the organization.Develop and/or deliver training initiatives based on business needs.Serve as a change agent in support of the Company's vision, mission, values, culture and strategy.What we are looking forBS or BA in Human Resources or related field, and;7+ years of functional Human Resources and business partnership experience, with experience working in a manufacturing environment.Minimum 3 years of experience managing others.Knowledge of HR personnel practices and principles.A demonstrated record of continuous professional growth with measurable results in an HR management role is necessary to succeed in this position.Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization.Strong employee relations/investigation skills.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products.Detail oriented and process focused individual that can drive successful results within a designated time period.Analytical skills with ability to drive action plans based off data.Proficient planning, time management, project management, and decision-making skills.Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of effective presentations to senior management and ability to influence multiple stakeholders, including senior levels of management.Superior communicator both verbally and in writing for multiple audiences.Working knowledge of Success Factors.MBA or Master's Degree.Safety and Health accountability in a manufacturing setting.Energizer is an equal opportunity employer, and we prohibit discrimination based on age, color, disability, marital or parental status, veteran status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other legally protected status in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.#J-18808-Ljbffr
