The Source Code Management team's mission is to effectively manage our large codebase and improve the developer experience working in our repositories. We develop systems and tools to ensure all our production code is owned and trackable, our review process is seamless and efficient while satisfying security and compliance requirements. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our employees can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.What You'll Do:Lead a team of 3-5 engineers working on internal tooling to manage our codeBe a hands-on technical leader, setting direction and participating in designing and implementing new systems and toolsOwn the technical solution that manages our entire codebase and the tooling around developer productivity in that areaMentor engineers in the team, supporting them in their career developmentWork with Compliance and Security Engineering to make sure our source code is safe and satisfies external and internal constraintsWork with Github and other vendors in this area as the main engineering contact for DatadogWho You Are:An engineering manager with at least 1 year of experienceA seasoned engineer with 5+ years of software development experienceSomeone who has worked on large code basesSomeone who is independent and have a good breadth of knowledgeSomeone that enjoys helping other engineers to be more productiveSomeone with a BS/MS/PhD in a Computer Science, Engineering or related scientific field or equivalent professional experience.Bonus Points: Experience with CI/CD systems, experience with compliance and security engineeringDatadog values people from all walks of life.
