About the RoleAs Manager II, Enterprise Applications for Veeva Platforms, you will act as a hands-on technology expert and administrator of Veeva CRM and its integrations for the Sales, Regulatory and Medical Affairs team. You will collaborate closely with all business functions including IT to identify and implement new features and functionality in Veeva CRM and the integrated systems.Let's talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
  • Act as a subject matter expert and technical systems analyst for Veeva CRM and integrating that with other marketing and data platforms
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT and external vendors to prioritize and implement new projects and to manage backlogs for enhancements
  • Use your extensive knowledge of CRM applications, Salesforce platform and Veeva CRM suite to lead high-level architecture and detailed solution design of our applications
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations of Veeva CRM function as the SME under Tarsus IT to support Sales and Medical Affairs teams
  • Responsible for risk and mitigation management for new and existing Veeva CRM configuration
  • Work with Commercial Operations, Master Data Management and Data Warehouse vendors to maintain and verify accurate HCP profiles within Veeva CRM and to facilitate flow of these records into Concur System for expense reporting.
  • Lead requirement gathering, solution design and user acceptance testing of system changes to ensure quality production deployments
Factors for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business, with 8+ years of relevant experience in architecting and implementing Veeva based solutions in a life sciences and pharma industry
  • Possess strong knowledge and hands on experience in core application rules and best practices with Veeva CRM configurations, integration with IQVIA ONEKEY, MDM, and DW reporting environments
  • Knowledge and experience in Veeva CRM modules such as Veeva Network and OpenData, Veeva Events, Veeva MyInsights, Veeva Align, Approved Email, Closed Loop Marketing
  • Knowledge and experience in Veeva Vault platforms such as MedComms and PromoMats. and the integration with Veeva CRM. Vault CRM knowledge is a plus
  • Experience to act as Veeva platform administrator including user and profile maintenance, address management, geographic assignment of users, territory specific fields with reference to sales targets, medical KOLs, call integrations, and medical inquiries
  • Strong understanding of technologies such as SQL, SOQL, REST, SOAP, HTML5, JavaScript
  • Knowledgeable with pharmaceutical data such as NPI, Medpro, IQVIA (DDD, Xponent PlanTrak, Patient Level (LADD))
  • Any experience with Veeva Regulatory Information Management systems will be a plus
  • Stay updated on new technologies and trends, ensuring the company derives optimal value from both current and prospective solutions or technologies under consideration for adoption
  • Familiar with waterfall and/or Agile project management methodologies
  • Very good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter: able to work independently, proactively identify challenges, and be accountable
  • Experience in leading multiple vendors such as software providers, system integrators and managed services partner on projects and support
  • Ability to influenced and guide technical solution with the best practice in mind in all Veeva Platforms. Veeva CRM and Vault certification is a plus

  • This position reports to the Director, Enterprise Applications

The expected base pay range for this position is $131,200 - $183,800 plus bonus, stock equity, and comprehensive benefits. The base pay range reflects the target range for this position, but individual pay will be determined by additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
