ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Direct plant activities to ensure the attainment of financial and operational goals
- Cultivates a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on growth, reducing costs, increasing throughput, improving quality, maintaining accurate inventories, and exceeding customer expectations
- Develops, recommends, and implements approved capital programs to support the profit and strategic plans of LION
- Responsible for creating annual operational budgets for the site and ensuring variances are well-managed and controlled
- Solves problems using a logical, systematic, and data-driven approach
- Fosters an environment that promotes LION's goals and core beliefs and builds customer relationships (internal and external).
- Works closely with Continuous Improvement Leader to support and drive lean initiatives
- Direct and manage all West Liberty team members to develop high-performance teams
- Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, and talent development for direct reports to drive clarity of goals and objectives while holding the team members accountable for outcomes
- Assesses key performance indicators and takes appropriate actions to ensure schedule, cost, safety, service, and quality goals are met.
- Supports Product Management throughout the entire product lifecycle to ensure customer product development needs, manufacturing needs, and manufacturing lead times are met.
- Assures that environmental, health, and safety issues are addressed by considering local regulations, LION policy, and good corporate citizenship.
- Maintains a direct communication style with all employees based in the plant, with the overall objective of maintaining good employee relations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project implementations and transitions throughout the operation.

- Understand and manage raw material usage and pattern control

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 7-10 years experience in a manufacturing environment/plant management. Prior experience working in the garment industry is a plus
- Excellent background in developing and leading high-performance teams
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement concepts and toolsets
- Knowledge of financial concepts and techniques to establish operational change value propositions.
- Analytical, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strategic planning and vision
- Strong influencing and leadership abilities
- Adaptability and agility with change
- Demonstrated ability to direct and lead successful cross-functional process improvement teams.
- Experience with ISO is preferred
- Knowledge of ERP and MRP systems preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
