Overview As our Imaging Services Manager in our Radiology department at CHI St Alexius Health Devils Lake, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health, you will oversee all specialized, clerical, administrative, and regulatory operations of the department. To thrive in this role, you must be competent and confident. You will manage employees through efficient communication, performance management, hiring, and training. At the same time, you will advocate for your team by bringing any issues, requests, or new ideas from them to leadership. Utilizing your excellent communication skills one-on-one and in front of groups, you will tackle tough conversations and be an educator at heart. Responsibilities - You will manage the security of diagnostic imaging service operations and establish a secure environment for clients, employees, and the public.
- You will develop and apply policies, protocols, and procedures to measure and improve the quality of different departments' diagnostic imaging services and customer satisfaction.
- Attend meetings with leadership to learn about new initiatives, budgetary status, areas for improvement, etc., and bring this information back to your staff.
- Monitor the productivity and efficiency of your department, including budgets.
- Manage diagnostic imaging service activities' safety and create a safe environment for patients, staff, and the public.
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of three (3) years leadership experience OR Master's Degree and no experience *May consider candidates with an Associate's Degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a Rad Tech or CT Tech and five (5) years of leadership experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Rad Tech, CT Tech, Nuclear Med Tech, Mammo Tech, MRI Tech, or Sonographer
- Minimum Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Licensed by the North Dakota Society of Radiologic Technologists (RT)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
PREFERRED:
- Experience in multiple modalities in a Critical Access Hospital .
