Job Summary
* Pfizer Research and Development (PRD) supports clinical development across Pfizer Every year, PRD partners with thousands of global participants, health systems and HCPs in our work to bring new medicines to market for the patients that we serve.
* In coordination with PRD and COE colleagues, provide consultative services (business solutions), project management - execution and delivery (e.g., project schedule, resources, budget, issues, and risks etc.), change management, and communication for PRD stakeholders.
* This role will partner with Pfizer Global Product Development, Worldwide Research & Development, Digital and other support functions to ensure timely project execution and delivery.
* The team is seeking candidates that have a proven track record of performing analytical activities, but also possess a passion for developing creative solutions to meet changing clinical development needs.
How You Will Achieve It
* Partner with Pfizer Digital and business lines to ensure timely solution delivery
* Provide subject matter expertise for workflow business solutions
* Provide product ownership to deliver workflow business solutions for Clinical, Safety and Regulatory domains
* Oversee contracted vendors located globally to ensure obligations are met; including business solution deliverables, regular status communications, lessons learned, continuous improvement etc.
* Lead or contribute to defining strategies, best practices, and sustainable solutions that ensure the quality and compliance of business process solutions.
* Implement improvements to enhance end user experience
* Lead or participate in governance, change management, roadmap and budget planning activities
* Provides solutions to complex operations' issues and communicate these solutions in an influential manner to relevant stakeholders resulting in appropriate decisions.
* Interface with strategic products and services vendors to understand and influence products and platforms direction, usability, features and performance to assist business efficiency and quality.
* Take advantage of new technology by proactively engaging with partner groups to explore new solutions.
* Lead the development of test strategies and acceptance approaches during system releases to ensure high quality of PRD systems
* Responsible for the business activities supporting implementation of workflow business solutions
Qualifications
Must-Have
* Bachelor's Degree in life sciences, or information management related discipline required.
* 5+ years' experience
* Demonstrated ability to perform in a cross-functional environment.
* Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to interact in a professional manner and build strong collaborative relationships with internal Pfizer teams.
* Ability to interface with international colleagues, understand the big picture in terms of potential implications of changes to systems and processes to sites and/or affiliates outside of home country/region
* Strong demonstrated project management and organizational skills
* Knowledge of application system management and change control processes, application validation and implementation in a GxP environment
* Knowledge of Pharmaceutical metadata and standards
Nice-to-Have
* Working knowledge of business process management solutions
* Working knowledge of structured content authoring and/or LLM technology
* Experience working with Veeva Clinical or RIM
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Occasional business travel and night and weekend support may be required for from time to time.
Work Location Assignment: Hybrid
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $93,500.00 to $155,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
