Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.Position SummaryThe Manager, Innovation Insights & Strategy will be responsible for driving innovation insights strategy & activation for the US. This person will proactively identify knowledge gaps, lead creative approaches to uncover insights, and drive learnings to action. The Manager will be a champion of deep consumer, demand moment, and growth terrain understanding.The successful candidate for this role willHave successful experience identifying innovation insights and activating from ideation to launchHave experience with design thinking, behavioral science, and ethnographic learning approachesKnow how to prioritize knowledge gaps, build holistic learning plans, and tell consumer storiesKnow how to quickly drive alignment on learning plans with multiple stakeholdersBe insatiably curious about consumers & culture, and creative in exploring new ways to learnBe passionate about uncovering unmet needs and solving consumer problemsKey ResponsibilitiesLead innovation insights strategy and activation on priority brandsBuild holistic innovation learning plans from development to validation, using design thinking techniques, and driving alignment with local and global stakeholdersIdentify unmet needs and trial drivers. Ensure insights are integral to concept, liquid, packaging, and drink strategy as a key partner in developmentActivate demand segmentation innovation insights, instilling deep empathy on demand moments and growth terrains with business partnersSupport development of innovation insight capabilities and best practices, such as establishing design thinking best practicesBe a thought leader in the innovation and insights communities, including strong relationships with global Center of Excellence and Brand Company insights partnersRequired Skills & Abilities5+ years of insights & strategy experience, including innovation insights5+ years leading primary qualitative & quantitative innovation researchExperience converting insights into successful innovation launchesExperience building holistic learning plans & driving quick alignmentProven ability to focus on critical questions, and experience leading iterative learning approachesExperience analyzing syndicated shopper data (e.g. Nielsen, IRI, Numerator)Ability to influence a diverse set of stakeholders at Director+ levelExperience driving insights on global brands and working in a global insights community preferredExperience in spirits, alcohol, beverages, or other image-based categories preferredEducationRequired: Bachelor's DegreePreferred: MBA or Master's DegreeLevel of ImpactAnalytical - what does the data say?: As an analytical informer, your impact is centered around providing advice and elevating analysis within the context of a broader strategy.
