DescriptionExciting management opportunity! We are looking for an experienced, responsible and dedicated restaurant manager with a warm and positive personality who has worked in a high volume restaurant. You must also be organized, detail oriented, possess multi tasking ability, have common sense and the ability to solve problems quickly and calmly. We seek someone who is guest driven and takes pride in ensuring customer satisfaction. 2 + years experience in a high volume restaurant management position preferred. You would need to be well versed in steps of service and have the ability to teach and help our staff progress to be the best they can be. In addition, you would be trained to execute all FOH positions, including expo, running, taking phone orders, hosting etc.Salary/hourly are negotiable and will be based on experience and expertise and hours. Schedule: choice of 5 days a week (50-55 hours) or 4 days a week (hourly pay, approximately 35-40 hours)You may be required to work on restaurant holidaysSchedule may change on those weeks.About us: Arpeggio is an independently owned restaurant that is a fast paced, high volume BYOB. Basic Job Duties
  • Employee scheduling. approximately 35 employees
  • Supervise and train FOH staff
  • Assist in cutting payroll costs by letting some staff go as soon as they are not needed.
  • Maintain orderliness with take out
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Oversee FOH cleaning schedule.
  • Listen and respond to guests' feedback, communicate this to owners
  • Serve as a liaison between the dining room and kitchen staff
  • Placing vendor orders for FOH
  • Maintaining a safe, sanitary and clean environment
Requirements
  • 2 years previous experience as a restaurant manager in a fast-paced restaurant
  • Great communication skills
  • Able to get along well with co workers, create a respectful and pleasant work environment while maintaining our policies
  • Comfortable with computers
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment efficiently
  • Must be reliable and flexible
  • Able to be calm and focused in emergency situations
  • Must be in good physical and mental health and able to lift 40 lbs easily.
