GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Healthcare Program Success Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Treasury Management Healthcare team. This individual will utilize their extensive knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle to facilitate, oversee, and expand Fifth Third‘s healthcare payments portfolio. They will ensure clients effectively scale with Fifth Third healthcare solutions, address and resolve complex revenue cycle inquiries, and manage essential back-office processes. Represents the business in key initiatives/projects with Finance, Operations, Information Technology, Human Resources, and other project partners.

**Seeking candidates with experience with leading EMR platforms such as EPIC and proven client facing experience with C-suite executives and revenue cycle leaders

While operating within the Bank‘s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the primary liaison between Fifth Third Bank and Big Data Healthcare, along with other selected vendor solutions, for client portfolio management.
  • Serve as the Bank‘s subject matter expert on Big Data Healthcare and other selected solutions, providing triage and support to clients.
  • Develop reports to monitor the healthcare portfolio, ensuring growth and volume targets are achieved.
  • Regularly meet with clients to review overall performance and identify potential expansion opportunities.
  • Execute and document client change requests through a Statement of Work (SOW) process.
  • Collaborate with the Bank‘s implementation and support teams to deliver additional training on revenue cycle management and the specific nuances of the solutions offered.
  • Work with sales, product, marketing, and operations teams to communicate client feedback.
  • Leverage project and process improvement skills to identify processes to improve client experience and streamline back-office operations.
  • Manage projects ensuring successful and timely implementation of key process and infrastructure improvements.
  • Define project definition, scope, and related procedures to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Develop detailed project plans, work assignments, target dates and other aspects of assigned projects. Evaluate multiple project interdependencies. Review estimates performed by others to ensure that they are realistic, complete, and clearly represented.
  • Facilitate project meetings and manage agendas and meeting recaps to ensure all project tasks and goals are being accomplished as expected.
  • Apply a strong base knowledge of relevant healthcare systems/applications as it relates to workflow, process, and problem resolution and recommend improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze research on operational procedures and methods and recommend changes for improvement with an emphasis on automation and efficiency. May conduct benchmarking activities to identify best practices.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors‘ degree in Business, Information Systems, or comparable work experience.
  • 5-10 years relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of multiple project management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills specializing in process and infrastructure improvement.
  • Working knowledge of assigned division, business line, and/or functional area.
  • Expert with basic MS Office suite. Knowledge of MS Access and similar data mining/analysis tools preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and execute to target dates.
  • Strong knowledge in several application and processing systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.
  • Extended viewing of CRT screen.
  • Minimal travel (less than 15%) as dictated by project need.
