The role youll contribute:

The Learning Experience Manager works under the direction of the Sr. Manager and is responsible for supervising the learning experience team in the design, delivery, and logistics of learning programs. The Learning Experience Manager will play an integral part in the development and delivery of learning projects and initiatives within Organizational Readiness (OR) and delivers optimal results that enable employees to demonstrate knowledge, skills and abilities within their job duties. This role focuses on conceptualizing and executing comprehensive learning strategies through partnership and collaboration with leaders across the organization.

  • Conceptualize, socialize, drive and execute comprehensive training plans and activities for major operational and project-based change initiatives.
  • Supervises and oversees the daily operation of the training team including training delivery via virtual and in-person modalities for courses, workshops, classroom and web solutions, super user engagement and development model to support the deployment of learning for impacted stakeholders, collaborate in development of strategy for super user programs.
  • Serves as primary point of escalation for risks and issues identified by supervised team members. Maintain frequent communication with the Sr. Manager of individual progress, training development status, personnel performance concerns, team development plans and activities.
  • Work with cross-functional project team members to identify and develop learning solutions for complex project issues, partnering closely to ensure active exchange of information and communication among team.
  • Operate within a cross-functional team of readiness resources to formulate plans and activities to support change initiatives and ensure successful implementations.
  • Assess lessons learned from learning delivery experiencesand recommend solutions to identify and close training gaps; Improve on delivery techniques with continuing education via knowledge share, webinars and other available learning platform; Successfully resolves student and stakeholder concerns; facilitates knowledgetransfer.
  • Assess incoming training and learning requests, scope the project, create a delivery timeline and work collaboratively to determine the best method for delivering the training.
  • Provide direction and leadership in content development; analyze needs, tasks, learning environment and develop learning objectives and requirements. Provide leadership in solving for training delivery contingencies, identifying, solving, and escalating issues and risks as needed.
  • Design and develop learning experiences to support stakeholder readiness including, but not limited to; virtual, e-learning, instructor led courses, videos, workshops, classroom andweb solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Establish recurring mechanism for learning team to report progress, status, risks to timelines andtraining development and delivery projects. Efficiently prioritize and plan training development activities to meet ever changing demand as projectlife cycle matures.
  • Serves as a member of the Organizational Readiness leadership team, exemplifying leadership skillsand mission orientation; Ensures linkages with other team activities; Participates in project teammeetings.
  • Administrative tasks (updating project plans, status reports, maintenance of learning solutions, pulling reports, etc.).
  • Facilitate (ILT, webinars, VILT, etc.) learning solutions.
  • Role may require up to 25% travel throughout year.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

  • Bachelors Degree Required; Preferably in Education, Learning or related field
  • 5 years of experience in Learning design and delivery
  • Minimum of one year of responsible leadership experiences in management or supervisory positions.
  • Experienced with course authoring tools (Captivate, Lectora, Articulate,etc)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Master's Degree in Education or learning related field
  • Experience in project related work
  • Experience working in healthcare industry, preferrable in an acute care setting
  • Experience in technology adoption for large transformations
  • Exposure to project management
  • Exposure to Change Management strategies, methodologies, and frameworks

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

  • Learning or Training Related Certificate (CPLP, SPHR, E-Learning, ID, etc.)
