Key Responsibilities: This role will lead logistics optimization projects across warehousing, materials, AOG and tooling. The position will guide warehouse teams to improve efficiency and expedite parts movement, applying Lean Six Sigma principles. The manager collaborates with frontline and management teams to implement process optimization, develop strategy and improve performance metrics. Responsibilities include identifying improvement opportunities, gathering/analyzing data, creating proven solutions, and establishing communication/sustainment plans. Projects vary in scope, from short analyses to major efforts lasting up to 18 months.Travel up to 75%
- Lead optimization and business teams to apply Lean principles (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work Cellular Flow, Pull Replenishment, Demand and Production smoothing, Mistake Proofing, Total Productive Maintenance etc.) or Six Sigma principles (DMAIC approach, SIPOC, Process Capability, Root Cause Analysis, Normal and Non-Normal data Statistical Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design of Experiments etc.) to transform and optimize processes in the Logistics Services organization (primarily in the Warehouses).
- Understand strategic impact of problems and proposed solutions
- Lead projects through gathering data, analyzing, and developing improvements and innovations that are statistically shown, establishing sustainment plans and preparing presentations to communicate project status.
- Work closely with Logistics Services leaders throughout the project life cycle.
- Lead development of leadership level communications for report outs for the Sr. Managers, Directors and MD of Logistics Services
- Lead and organize large, cross-departmental groups through sophisticated and strategic workshops with Logistics Services and its other collaborators and help find opportunities for improvement in a data centric fashion
- Coach and develop a team of 4 optimization analysts

Qualifications What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Engineering, Technology, or Business Administration
- Minimum 5+ years of related work experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing projects related to Continuous Improvement
- Demonstrated successful project delivery in Continuous Improvement
- Strong discernment and the ability to partner effectively across various fields
- Strong ability to understand sophisticated interplays between operational finance and technical decisions
- Ability to balance multiple large projects across multiple functions
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Visio and Project proficiency
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
