Day (United States of America)Manage/Supervise clinical systems - operations, administration, and development. Develop and implement clinical systems business plans, policies, and procedures. Support the development of the strategic direction for clinical systems, including project planning, staffing, and technical architecture. Develop technical standards and specifications for clinical applications. Provide guidance and direction on clinical workflows and application management best practices and ensure system processes and procedures are coordinated with business objectives.Salary Range $100,528.00 - $165,872.00 AnnuallyRole includes responsibility for overall direction of the following:• Activities of Information Technology professional staff to implement efficient and cost-effective infrastructure and business solutions supporting AMC objectives;• New technology, application and support tools evaluation and procurement, including the analysis of new and emerging technologies applicable to the health care environment and the acquisition of new technologies, applications or information management tools through a disciplined procurement process;• Architectural planning including requirements for additional and/or upgraded hardware or software to ensure the long-term viability of the AMC information technology (IT) environment;• Special projects as assigned by the CIO or Vice President of IS including, but not limited to the following:o Evaluation of alternative solutions for enterprise wide infrastructure and business capabilities;o Analysis and selection, through a standardized procurement process, of IT and Business technologies; ando Manage technology contractors, following selection, through the development, implementation and maintenance of partnered solutions;o Staff compliance of applicable AMC and Information Technology policies, procedures and practices; ando Establishment of professional growth opportunities for InformationJob DescriptionQualifications
