Job Description:

Who You Are:

You will play a critical role in the day-to-day functioning of the Product Development / Production Department. You are a result driven person who will manage the task of costing the line, working in tandem with all other departments and assist director to achieve desired target margins.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee the development process and costing from Design handoff to Market
  • Track all development samples, mock-ups, and reference samples-ensuring all arrive on time for various milestone meetings
  • Enter and maintain all costing for multiple divisions in PLM system
  • Resolve daily development and costing issues with Director as they arise
  • Special Projects - Collect and compile all necessary spreadsheets for analysis by the Directors and VP of production.
  • Daily communication with Global agents re all areas and phases of costing and development and all updates pertaining to each.
  • Price targeting and negotiation to achieve target margins
  • Key liaison between Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, Fabric and Trim teams
  • Independently prepare and present costing and development options to Senior Management Teams

You'll Need to Have:

  • 3 + years of experience in product development and production
  • Advanced knowledge of PLM system (preferred Centric)
  • Strong product development skills
  • Extensive proficiency in Excel a plus
