About the Role Responsible for being the Control Tower related to New Product Launches by coordinating, planning, and executing all activities for a category to deliver on time in full execution (OTIF). Collaborates with Supply Chain cross-functional team members as well as Brand/Marketing, Scientific and Finance Departments to ensure that all necessary learning, qualification, and execution activities of new products are completed in support of a successful launch. The Project Manager is expected to manage a portfolio of different projects varying in complexity. Project portfolios may include new product franchises, promotions (i.e. kits or gifts with purchases), new formulas, packaging specification adjustments and changes to core product designs depending on the business needs. Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the new product planning process ( Stage Gating ) for all products for a designated category brand from concept generation to execution while ensuring achievement of timing, quantity and KPI targets.
- Lead all project meetings and coordinate the seamless integration between all Supply Chain, Scientific, Creative, Marketing & Sales processes and functions involved in developing and launching new products
- Establish and maintain an 24-month new product development calendar in conjunction with the brands and proactively drive the Kick-off briefing process using a range of standard timeline templates that vary in duration according to product complexity
- Consistently challenge and reduce the development lead-times by ensuring appropriately balanced risks are built into the original timelines, while ensuring all COGs, quality and service requirements are achieved/exceeded
- Responsible for the cost process for all launches within a designated category. This includes presenting options to the brand that meet their cost target, aesthetic target and offer a sustainable option to achieve Shiseido goals.
- Be an independent contributor to the launch process and the liaison between all Supply Chain teams and the brands, inclusive of timely escalation of launch challenges on either side to the correct parties to mitigate risks to the business.
- Gatekeeper for brand quality of both formula and packaging ensuring that all product launches pass the quality tests.
- Must utilize MS Project/Timeline tool as required.

Qualifications
- Work well with cross-functional teams and take a leadership role within the team.
- Effective interpersonal skills are a must.
- Knowledge of MS Project or other project management-related software, MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- 5+ years project management experience
- Understanding of new product development processes & stage gate approach
- Exposure to production environment & interaction of packaging, process, manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university

At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $98,000-163,000.
