Valley View Hospital is looking for a Manager of Clinical Informatics and Applications to work in our IT department. $10,000 sign on bonus!!!This is NOT a remote position. This position is fully on-site at our Valley View Hospital located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado! As the Manager you will:
Leads a team of informaticists and staff in the pursuit of excellence in the delivery of electronic health records, measured not only by meeting functional requirements and achieving clinical operational objectives, promote software/product enhancements, user and staff training, and customer service. Works with the Executive Director in developing short-term and long-term information technology strategic plans and drive and manage the Clinical Informatics initiative for the organization. Oversees the Clinical Informatics team which provides informatics services to the hospital. Acts as a liaison between clinical staff and the IT department, meeting to support clinical IT systems and clinical practice. Develops a high level of coordination between the complex technology environment, the IT staff, and contracted application support teams. Forms a partnership with our clinical vendors and strives to make VVH a model site for their clinical suite of products. Builds trust and a reputation of service delivery excellence with physicians, nurses, executives, clinicians and key stake holders. QUALIFICATIONS: Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required, master's degree preferred.
- Current Colorado RN license or current multi-state compact license.
- Registered Nurse preferred, not required.
Experience:
- Knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, Development software, Internet software, Project Management software, Healthcare Informatics and Database software, clinical application dictionary level build and support tools.
- At least 5 years' experience in a hospital clinical setting preferred.

SALARY RANGE
- $89,897.60 to $134,846.40/annually
- Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
- $10,000 sign on bonus for a two-year, full-time commitment to Valley View!
