Position Title: Manager of Digital, Data and Technology Business Unit: Programs Reports To: Director of Operations Location: New York, United States About this role: The Manager of Digital, Data and Technology will support a key LRQA multistakeholder client in the RMG industry whose focus is on improving factory worker and workplace safety. Our client drives transformational change in factory safety management with an approach based on robust management systems and leveraging the business relationships between our members and their supplying factories. Key job responsibilities: The Manager of Digital, Data and Technology will be responsible for supporting the development and management of innovative databases and policies tailored to our client's unique requirements. Your role will involve assessing and building database metrics, ensuring data quality and support the monitoring and evaluation process. Critical thinking and the ability to articulate what the data is telling us is critical the success of this role in the organization. Primary responsibilities:
- Evaluate data systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Support data reliability and usability assessments.
- Extract relevant data and build detailed reports for leadership.
- Contribute to data security efforts including backup and recovery.
- Collaborate and support team members on day-to-day activities.
- Analyze and interpret data to support decision-making
- Create, revise, and enforce data management policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
- Experience managing data in a professional setting.
- Understanding of data management and administrative policies.
- Familiar with modern, high-tech databases, IT systems and websites. Tableau, Python, or Metabase, Power BI, WordPress for website support.
- Proficient at digesting, understanding, and analyzing large amounts of data.
- Strong attention to detail in statistical information.
- Knowledge of data security laws and protocols.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills, especially under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to present data findings clearly and effectively.
