• Oversee the daily operations of the emergency department, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflow.
• Recruit, train, and manage emergency department staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Ensure that all patients receive prompt, compassionate, and effective care in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
• Manage departmental budgets, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards, including OSHA, JCAHO, and state-specific requirements.
• Work closely with other hospital departments and senior leadership to coordinate care and improve overall hospital operations.

Candidate requirements

• Florida RN License required, associate's degree required, bachelor's preferred, ACLS, BLS, PALS
• 3+ years of acute care within the ER, 2+ years of leadership experience in the ER
• Active RN license in the state of Florida.
• Prior leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and make critical decisions.
