POSITION: Manager of Events and Corporate Partnerships REPORTS TO: Chief Advancement Officer POSITION TYPE: Full-Time ABOUT MANNA: MANNA is a nonprofit organization in Philadelphia that provides nutrition services to improve the health of people with serious illnesses who need nourishment to heal. By providing medically tailored meals and nutrition education, we empower people to improve their health and quality of life. SUMMARY: The Manager of Events and Corporate Partnerships oversees and manages all aspects of MANNA's fundraising and donor events and develops partnerships that engage corporations and their employees in MANNA's programs, events and volunteer experiences leading to philanthropic support and increased awareness for MANNA. This position will report to and work closely with MANNA's Chief Advancement Officer to grow the organization's base of corporate support by designing attractive event, programmatic and volunteer partnership packages and engaging in targeted outreach and solicitation to build a robust and comprehensive corporate giving structure. This position will also be responsible for budgetary and logistical planning, marketing, day-of event execution, as well as expense and revenue reporting for each fundraising event. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will supervise the Events and Creative Content Coordinator. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Corporate Partnerships:
- Develop, maintain, and execute on a comprehensive corporate partnership plan and program, including developing fundraising event, programmatic sponsorship opportunities and customized volunteer experiences; building a pipeline of corporate sponsor prospects and partners; engaging in sponsorship acquisition; fulfilling sponsorship benefits; stewarding corporate partners; and other elements of a comprehensive corporate giving program.
- Write and assist in designing creative event and programmatic sponsorship packages to share with corporate partners and prospective partners/sponsors.
- Develop and execute strategies for increasing the number of recurring and annual corporate sponsors/partners.
- Collaborate with the Chief Advancement Officer to build and cultivate a portfolio of corporate giving prospects.
- Cultivate and steward relationships with current and potential corporate sponsors.
- Think creatively and lead unique opportunities for corporate engagement in conjunction with Development/Communications and Volunteer departments.
- Support overall development operations strategy to build on the culture of philanthropy and donor engagement at MANNA.
- Will regularly use: Salesforce, Classy, Constant Contact, Microsoft Office, and Canva.
- Support the efforts of the Development/Communications department as a whole, including collaborative projects with colleagues, and lead or assist with organization wide events.
Events:
- Planning
- Conduct short- and long- term planning and management for all MANNA fundraising and donor events.
- Develop and maintain annual events calendar, including key deadlines in lead-up to each event.
- Develop and recommend each event's revenue and expense budgets in line with departmental and organization goals; manage within those approved budgets.
- In collaboration with Communications colleagues, develop each event's marketing plan.
- Build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of revenue goals.
- Logistics, Management and Execution
- Meet or exceed budgeted revenue goals and net revenue for all events.
- Lead the solicitation and booking of all venue, catering and other logistical elements for each event; conduct all necessary checkpoints and follow up to ensure smooth and successful execution.
- Develop procedures, task lists, schedules, and procure supplies and needed equipment for all events.
- Train, supervise and work with team members as required to assist in event logistics and execution.
- Assist in recruiting, scheduling, and confirming volunteer assignments for all events.
- Assist in the development of mailing lists to promote events.
- Assist in the mailing of physical and digital event save the dates, invitations, letters, flyers, etc.
- Process RSVPS and maintain status reports in connection with event revenue streams, including ticket sales, sponsorships and donations.
- Handle phone and email inquiries regarding event logistics, ticketing, and sponsorship.
- Provide on-site leadership for all events.
- Miscellaneous duties as needed during event planning and execution.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor's Degree or commensurate level of experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, as well as writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

- Valid driver's license required.

All offers of employment at MANNA are contingent upon successful results of our standard credentialing process, which includes a criminal background investigation, a drug screen, reference checks, and submission of mandated proof of the COVID-19 vaccine. Nights and weekends may be required as necessary to support MANNA events and other fundraising activities. SALARY: $68,000 - $75,000 commensurate with experience BENEFITS: Health and Vision insurance, Dental insurance, FSA, Pre-tax Commuter Spending Account, Life insurance, Disability insurance, 401(k) plan with match, PTO up to 12 days in year one plus 5 sick days, 11 paid holidays plus two 'floating' holidays per year and one day a week of remote work.
