Manager of Information Technology Operations (On-Site)

Purpose of Position: Assist the Director of Information Technology to define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices. Ensure the streamlined operation of the IT Department is in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. Job Responsibilities and Duties: •Manage, guide and mentor a team of technology professionals. •Provide day to day operational guidance that support the short and long term technology plan. •Plan, coordinate, direct, and design IT-related activities of the organization. •Collaborate with other business leaders to determine infrastructure and operational requirements. •Work closely with the Director to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. •Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems. •Manage IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, career development, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. •Perform other duties as assigned. Education/Experience: •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required, unless waived by Executive Management. •Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience in managing network teams and projects in an enterprise environment preferred. •Must be experienced in the design of network infrastructure concepts, implementation and the hardening of systems. •Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication, proven analytical and problem-solving abilities required. •A valid California Driver's License required.
