Manager of Project Management

Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 + Bonus + Health, Dental, Vision, 401k Benefits
Our manufacturing client is a leader in the air cooling industry and searching for an experienced Manager to lead and coordinate the projects department and manage a team of Project Managers that are leading various sized manufacturing related projects in the Tulsa, OK area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the work of Project Managers, ensuring the successful management of multiple projects.
- Monitor project scopes, costs, schedules, staffing, and vendor performance.
- Develop and implement detailed action plans to achieve project objectives, keeping executive leadership informed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Operations, facilitating communication between Engineering, Sales, and customers to maintain project alignment.
- Collaborate with Purchasing to ensure timely identification and ordering of long lead items.
- Document project status, identify obstacles, and communicate resolutions to management.
- Apply traditional project management skills to set goals, assess risks, and resolve issues effectively.
Requirements for the Manager of Project Management:
- Must have experience managing Project Management Departments and teams of Project Management Professionals
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within a serial steel manufacturing environment.
- Advanced understanding of manufacturing supply chains is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management software.
